I went to Black Friday with my sister one year. It was strictly to provide moral support as she braved the crowds to purchase a much desired video game system for her family. It was a madhouse and I swore I would never go out on a Black Friday again. The next year I saw the sale papers and looked. There it was, the perfect present for my very adorable niece. So I went out, braved the crowds again, and purchased the present. It was, if possible, worse. The next year it was something I truly coveted. Okay, it wasn't too bad. I stayed away from the really popular stores, purchased my item, and made it home safely. This year I was not going out. Anything I really wanted would be available on Saturday, so Friday I was going to stay home and recover from Saturday. Maybe I'd go to the craft fair in Ocean Shores. But that would be it. Oh, the best laid plans.
My father-in-law was having dizzy spells on Thursday. And he was going out on Black Friday!!!! I couldn't let him go alone. Mother-in-law is recovering from surgery, husband couldn't survive the crowds, so it was up to me. And I survived.
Next year - I AM NOT GOING OUT ON BLACK FRIDAY! I'd believe myself if I hadn't said the same thing four years in a row.

It's terrible to tease people with starting a blog and then never post on it.
Hmm....maybe if I continue to post comments on your blog, eventually, you will make a new post.
Still waiting!
